From the President- Tom Murphy
The goals of the Booster Club this year are:
1. To promote the Website
2. To have more members involvement.
3. To improve public perception of the booster club.
4. To obtain 100% of the coaches to be a member.
5. To have more newspaper coverage.
The board has purchased "The Gun" for the basketball program. It is a top of the line piece of equipment that can be used by an individual or a group of players. It is a very piece of equipment.
Congratulations to the Horicon Varsity football team with the conference champions and advancing to the semi-finals. They fell to the eventual champions, Lancaster. The team has made the community very proud.
We encourage people to check out the web site: horiconboosterclub.com and check events and scores of the teams.
The board has recently purchased an ice machine for the middle school. The school board with the booster club are dividing the purchase. It will provide the middle school athletes with ice and also aid the office with ice for the many bumps and bruises that occur during the course of the year.
We appreciate all the support you have given us and encourage ideas, suggestions and questions. We are here to support our athletes in the best way we can.
